Ji Ji Asian Kitchen Carnival Vista
Ji Ji Asian Kitchen Carnival Vista is the best Asian restaurant on the open seas. After many tries we finally made it to Ji Ji Asian Kitchen on the Carnival Vista.
Ji Ji Asian kitchen has been around a while. However, with so much free food in the main dining room and the buffet for dinner, we never made it. We finally made it and we are glad we did.
Ji Ji Asian kitchen charges a flat fee of $15 per adult and $5 per child. However, I will share a discount below which allow kids to eat free.
The discount only applies to certain cabins. However, the price is very affordable. Kids staying in the Family Harbor section of the Carnival Vista eat for free when eating with an adult. No need to do anything, the system will automatically deduct the cost for each child.
The plates at Ji Ji Asian kitchen are huge as you can see in the above video. We were given the choice of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and all the sides and desserts we wanted.
We started with the Chicken & Cilantro Root Soup. The soup comes with corn, eggs, tomatoes, Chinese chives and oyster mushrooms.
Our second appetizer was the Nunjing Style Duck. The Nunjing Style Duck dates back over 1400 years. Our version is slow-cooked then flash wok-fried. Tomato, mung bean, mango fritters, shallots, hoisin with lily dust, green chili sauce.
The third appetizer was the Slow Braised Pork Belly. The Slow Braised Pork Belly is made by Caramel chili sauce with black vinegar. Pomelo citrus fruit, Chinese chives with gorgonzola, spiced purple onions.
The first entree was the Kung Pao Chicken. Made with Sichuan peppercorns with heavenly facing chilies & cashews.
Our second entree was the Chairman Mao’s Master Stock Pig. Clay pot stewed pork is wok fried with scallions, sesame, fresh spinach, pea shoots, snap peas.
Our third entree was the Bo Kho. Slow-Braised Wagyu Beef Short Rib. Watermelon radish, burdock root, wasabi pearls, crisp potatoes.
The food is plentiful. We were not able to finish. Furthermore, multiple sides are included. We decided to eat the Chinese broccoli, wide noodles and steamed Jasmine Rice. However, no meal is complete without dessert, also included in the meal.
In conclusion Ji Ji Asian Kitchen Carnival Vista is the best Asian restaurant on the open seas.
