My favorite pizza is the Chimichurri. Chimichurri is an uncooked sauce used for grilled meat. I love that combination of a meat topping placed on a vegetarian pizza.

Chimichurri has an amazing flavor and is under the category of white pizzas.

White pizzas don’t have the traditional tomato sauce. The sauce is made of extra virgin olive oil. Hence, the white pizza extra virgin olive oil and the red pizza tomato sauce.

Another Cafe Zorba favorite is the Jalapeño pizza. Jalapeño pizza has real jalapeños. The jalapeño pizza also comes with yellow corn. However, you can ask to have it taken off. Although I’m not a fan of corn on pizza this option works on the jalapeño pizza.

All pizzas cost 24.500 cop (approximately $8.13 usd). One pizza is usually enough for me. However, sometimes I will start with the sauteed mushrooms appetizer.

Pizza and wine the perfect combination

The perfect pizza should go with a great drink and Cafe Zorba offers many options. First option is a bottle of wine. However, prices have gone up. But a bottle of wine is only 45.000 cop (approximately $15 usd).

Expats, tourist and locals vegetarian melting pot

Cafe Zorba is a melting pot. Expats, tourist and locals all meet here. Furthermore, the international owners are good owners and they take good care of their employees.

In conclusion on any given night you will meet Americans, Israelis, Venezuelans, Germans and Colombians. And people from all walks of life eating at the top Medellin vegetarian pizza spot.
